The trip to my mums

When I go any where significant, I like to take my camera. Going down to my mums for my nieces Christening was going to be no exception. unfortunately as I was in the Christening I was going to be unable to grab any photos of the event, but I did get a load of photos of the train journey to and from there.

My hope for the future of gaming

The future of gaming, where is it? What will it be? Some believe it will all be in the cloud with such services as OnLive or purely consoles with their clunky controllers. I hope that it will be with the consoles.

If you know me, you know I’m a die-hard PC gamer. I will not pledge my allegiance to the console even if my life depended on it. However, the console has one thing that a PC does not, dedicated hardware. If that was implemented for the PC gaming world, it would change the course of gaming history.

Gmail as Your Default Client

If you’re like me and you like everything Google and you use Windows XP, then you should love this hack. I have been trying to get Windows to use Gmail as my default mail provider when clicking on email links in the browser. Unfortunately this has proven to be a right pain in my ass over the last few months.

I have been using programs that would sit in my task tray and wait until I clicked a mailto: link and then jump into action. I don’t want the hassle of installing and setting up foreign programs to handle something that is so simple. After finally finding a way to do it, I thought I would post the solution on here.

Winchester Hat Fair 2011

July 1st – 3rd was the annual Winchester Hat-Fair, like most people who live in Winchester, we took the family out to the Hat-Fair, but we found ourselves becoming very bored very quickly, which is a shame, as last year we found some good acts!

If you have no idea what the Hat-Fair is, I have included some photos that random people have taken while they were there, as I didn’t get any. All image are from Flickr. If you spot your photo and want it removed, head on over to my contact page and give me a shout! At he time of posting, all photos were available for download.
